Thermal-Guided Treatment
Dry Needling at Chirotherm
Dry needling is a precise technique used to relieve muscular pain and tension, stimulate healing, and improve mobility. At ChiroTherm it is offered by Dr. Anthony Piana, whose extensive background in acupuncture and neuromuscular therapy brings exceptional depth to this service.
Why Dry Needling?
We perform live infrared thermography to identify trigger points in real time using a thermal camera. By visualizing heat patterns linked to muscular tension or irritation, we can accurately locate and treat active trigger points during the dry needling session.
Dry Needling Under Live Thermography
We utilize live video thermography to visually identify active trigger points in real time using a high-resolution infrared camera. This advanced imaging allows us to detect areas of increased heat that correlate with muscular tension, inflammation, or irritation—often caused by overuse or stress on specific muscle groups. By observing these thermal patterns during a session, we can accurately pinpoint the exact location of active trigger points. This real-time feedback enhances the precision of dry needling treatment, ensuring that we target the most reactive areas to reduce pain, improve mobility, and accelerate the healing process.
